As a Mother I understand the ache and urgency to capture your children in the (very) fleeting stage they are currently in. And as a photographer I urge you to get your beautiful self in those images with your children. Think of a photo captured with you and your own Mother, if you are lucky enough to have one. When you see that photo do you even notice her extra pounds, her wrinkles, her chin or arms? I sure don’t. I see a moment of time and feel the love and admiration of motherhood and those days of closeness. Motherhood is one of my very very favorite things - the greatest privilege in this life.
