Beginnings: Autumn & Engagement

Two high school sweethearts. Two people that were ready and thrilled to be saying their, "I Do". I can't say enough about how amazing this wedding day was. The weather was just perfect, and when Michigan had already said "Farewell" to Autumn, New Jersey was hanging on to it for dear life - and it's colors were amazing. 

I met this couple at the fantastic wedding of Holly & Paul in August 2013. Fast forward to 2014 and I got a call saying they had gotten engaged and wanted to meet up. I've shared a couple of meals with them through our meetings and from the first meeting it seemed like we'd known each other for years. They are warm and friendly and so kind. But before I forget, their proposal story is the BEST I've heard in years and I'd love to share it.

These two are so sweet together. Content. Happy. They are a pair of school teachers with a heart for others. We had a lovely Autumn day with great color and photographed their session in Dixboro village...
