Portrait Sessions This Summer
Dear Friends,
My last update on my business in the midst of the pandemic was on March 12th. I’m in awe that is already May 21. It’s both flown by and crawled along as slow as a snail. I’m sure you know what I mean! I hope you and your loved ones are well. I for one am so grateful for the emergence (FINALLY) of the sun, the blooms and beautiful spring. It’s been so welcome! I have worked with all my of summer wedding clients (and some fall) as most have needed to reschedule or reorganize their wedding plans. What a difficult time for all of them - my heart is with you and I look forward to capturing their events in the future or their modified weddings soon. I will be there - with bells on (or a mask!?)!
I’m writing today to update my policies and procedures on scheduling portrait sessions now that I can do so.
I am staying updated on the latest information from the CDC and following directives from our local state government. I am acting responsible by avoiding travel; practicing social distancing; and of course practicing good hand hygiene. I will be wearing a mask if we shoot in an inclosed air space or in a situation where I think it’s safer to do so. I plan to schedule sessions outdoor only at this time to prevent being indoors/needing masks. This policy includes photographing newborn sessions - they will be outdoor, weather permitting.
The contract a client signs includes standard policies on rescheduling and cancelation. Rescheduling within a year is possible if the client or the photographer take ill or if restrictions for photography go back into place. I will happily reschedule any session for inclement weather within two weeks.
I’d love to document your growing families, your upcoming (or recent) senior, your newborn babies, engagement sessions and your upcoming wedding. For new inquires please fill out the form HERE on my CONTACT PAGE
I also wanted to reassure you that I want to make sure your session happens, is beautiful and that your safety as well as mine, your loved ones, and the general public are my top priorities.
Any questions you have about scheduling a session or an event can be directed to the contact page or feel free to shoot me a quick email info@melaniereyesphotography.com
Thank you so much!
