An Ann Arbor City Club September Wedding
This couple's story is the story of two ships passing in the night - but somehow life and love brought them full circle to meet again, and to fall in love. This couple shared a bit of life together in high school on the track team. Their families sat side by side and watched their children compete. And then life split their paths.... They went their separate ways, they pursued talents and careers.
And suddenly, life was gracious enough to allow them to cross paths again. This wedding day was so special. It was a day where this couple came with grateful hearts for what they found after all these years in each other. The day was intimate, simple, and exquisite. Ann Arbor City Club is one of my favorite Ann Arbor venues - the vintage house, the beautiful ceremony site (you'd never believe you're within city limits!), and a reception site standing waiting just steps away. It's the perfect place for a couple that wants an all-in-one place to get married. It means less to stress about, no travel, ease for the couple and your guests. Love that!
We took a few moments before the ceremony to capture some photographs of bride and groom, followed by a beautiful ceremony out back with a string trio where they couple tied the knot. Family formals happened on the front lawn (what a beautiful spot!) and then an intimate meal shared with close friends and family.
Thank you for having me document such a lovely, heartfelt wedding. It was an honor.
Best wishes, Melanie
