Adoption: Red Thread Sessions
In the past I have had the priviledge of celebrating adoption through donating photo sessions to those who have recently welcomed a child into their hearts. I continue to do this but through a new organization. What is Red Thread? The Ancient Chinese Proverb is a commonly-used saying within the adoption community. It symbolizes the bond that all adoptive children have with their adoptive parents, even before they meet. An invisible “red thread” connects them to the people they are destined to meet. Although this Proverb truly relates to all people, it has a particularly strong connection to adoptive families and seemed like the perfect name for this organization. This beautiful family heard I was looking for an adoptive family to photograph. They are a beautiful family, brought together through Love. The way that they big sisters love and care for their little sisters if beautiful. Olivia is the newest addition to this family. She is ENERGY, JOY, and Spitfire. She is like most 18 month old that runs to the next things - but perhaps she runs faster than most. She is quick!
I just love the photo of the four girls together. The only way we could get Olivia to stay put was involving motion in the photo. I suggested the big sisters keep picking her up to keep her entertained. It worked wonders.
Olivia is beautiful and thanks to adoption and to this family she is Loved and Cherished. Just the way it should be for all little ones in this world. Thank you, Adoption.
