Erik & Ellen get married.

Erik & Ellen got married. Erik is a southern boy that went across the big pond to study in Ireland. While in Ireland he discovered a Christian group. He wanted to continue living near other Christians when he returned to the states. That is how Erik ended up moving from Ireland to Ann Arbor, Michigan. Ellen is a beautiful girl from Lansing, Michigan who has a big heart for Detroit. She was working and serving in Detroit, Michigan. Lo and behold the two met and a couple of non-date coffee dates turned into well, this. The beginning of something great.

And so on a beautiful summery day in May in Lansing, Michigan the two were wed. There was a beautiful wedding ceremony at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox church. The deep traditions of a greek orthodox wedding are so beautiful - and the church with it's deep reds and icons was amazing to photograph. The bridal party had a brief time at a park nearby before heading to the reception.

Erik & Ellen are one of those couples that thoroughly enjoy their wedding day. They laughed, they were grateful, and they love being in love. I think these photos show just that!
