There is nothing like a wedding or bar and bat mitzvah to remind us the preciousness of family and time that marches on. A room full of beloved family and friends - with generations gathered together celebrating that life is precious and worth celebrating. It’s the awe that a beautiful couple is just at the beginning of hopefully a very long life together. It’s the thirteen year old bravely sharing in front of his/her congregation making a step into being an adult in their jewish tradition, while being cheered on by his/her parents and grandparents. These moments define us.

We are recording family history. That very deep and profound fact is never lost on us. We go out of our way to know who’s who in your family and make sure that the portraits and the memories of your event included many images of your loved ones. 

So, GOLDEN; we celebrate those among us that have the honor and privilege of seeing their children’s children (as is the prayer in some wedding traditions!). And among these images I have to point out is my own grandmother who was able to be apart of her GREAT granddaughter’s wedding last year (and her namesake, Virginia) and has just this Christmas lived to see her Children’s Children’s Children. Yes, she is newly a GREAT GREAT Grandma. 

Life is worth celebrating and we are so honored to document those loved ones along the way. It’s an immense honor. Enjoy our personally picked favorite GOLDEN images of 2022.
