A blustery Autumn wedding

I drove to the bride’s home and STOP signs were literally turning 180 degrees whipping in the wind. Branches from trees were crashing onto North Territorial Rd and I arrived completely soaked because of the 10 foot walk from my car into the bride’s home. It was quite the storm!

And then…as so many times before the weather cleared just as we were headed to the chapel and I (again like so many times before) was so overwhelmed with gratitude that we were able to capture gorgeous autumnal photos in the gardens at the Inn at St Johns. You don’t get to pick the weather for your wedding day - and we literally have made anything workable but it’s such a blessing to be able to capture a gorgeous autumn day.

It was a short and sweet few hours together celebrating these two and their beautiful beginning. Thank you so much for having me along…
