Ann Arbor Brides | Residence Inn Ann Arbor Downtown

Over and over I've heard from brides in Ann Arbor how difficult it is to find a great place to get ready and stay in the days leading up to their wedding. Downtown Ann Arbor is such a wonderful spot for bridal parties and guests but has seriously lacked in accommodations for weddings of most sizes. 

I was thrilled when I found out that Marriott was building a downtown location (just a block from my office on 122 Main St!). 

A few wedding vendors from Ann Arbor got together and discovered the new hotel and photographed some Getting Ready photos to give you brides a great idea of the space and how wonderful it would be to get ready in it! 

I highly recommend staying at a place that's not only a beautiful place (with great natural light) but NEAR your wedding! So whether you're getting married at University of Michigan Union, The League, UMMA, Ann Arbor City Club, or Zingerman's Cornman Farm you're going to love this space. 

Be warned, however it books quickly, in fact we were surprised to find out in the first 4 months it's been open it's been booked completely every. single. day. So block your rooms soon for your wedding, if you need it!

Enjoy these photos. I loved how all the gorgeous details came together. I LOVED what a beautiful scene the headboard (metallic!), the flowers and the dresses made. The bridal party social dresses from The Gown Shop Social was such a beautiful palette of colors and textures. How awesome would they be to photograph together on a wedding day?
