An Autumn Coach Insignia Detroit Wedding
I met this couple a few months back - with their dogs which in a 101 Dalmatians sort of way were the reason they met. Two Upper Peninsula kids that moved to the "big city" whose concerned families suggested they meet the other in case they need someone to lend a helping hand. They agreed to walk the dogs together -- and soon it became walking the dogs And dinner...and so the rest of the story goes. In fact the dogs kept looking for each other and getting excited when they thought they saw a pickup truck or they thought a walk was about to happen. They indeed knew something was up and they were happy about it! Something blossomed between the humans too and a love story began. This couple cares for the other so well - they are truly a great match.
The day started not in Detroit, but first in the couple's home church of St Nicholas Orthodox Church in Ann Arbor. Such incredible beauty. I love this church, the beautiful icons and the supportive community it provides for it's members. It's deep rooted traditions and family centered community is truly a gift.
Because of the couple's love for Detroit (and all the adventures it brought them including a first date at Coach Insignia) they decided to bus the whole wedding to Coach Insignia for the celebration. The provided a map of the city and binoculars for their guests to see all the sights from the roof top restaurant - Spectacular!
Thank you so much for having me to document your wedding. It was so much fun, an honor and I fell in love with your families and good friends that were over the moon for you both. What a great way to start a marriage.
Love, Melanie (and Deana)
