Vendor Spotlight: Little Flower Soap Co.

When Holly Rutt phoned me over winter break with a creative project idea, I immediately got excited to capture her vision. Holly Rutt is the talented and business savvy entrepreneur of not one, but two successful businesses. She is the owner of Sweet Pea Floral Design and Little Flower Soap Co.

Holly had a beautiful vision - to capture the makings and hard work put into The Little Flower Soap Co. which has grown exponentially and has included the hard work of Holly's husband, parents and sister. Holly wanted to be able to capture her family feverishly working (as they do) to process holiday orders. We wanted to document the steps of the process but also the fun-loving relationship of a tight-knit family that has always stepped up to help. Holly explained that she wanted to pause and document the humble beginnings of her company. We set out to capture the help she has received from her family, and the immense gratitude and love for them. All I could say was YES, YES, and YES. We ended up a delightful family session at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial.
