Mara's Bat Mitzvah | Ann Arbor Bar & Bat Mitzvah Photographer

A few years ago I began photographing Bar and Bat Mitzvah's thanks to my dear friend, Julie whose children I had nannied from the day they were born. I had no idea when I started how much I would ADORE photographing such an amazing event in a young person's life. It's such an honor to document the amount of joy and energy as well as the intimacy of family and friends brought together to celebrate an important step a young person's life. Capturing Bar and Bat Mitzvahs here in my home town of Ann Arbor has been such a pleasure. The amount of time and effort each of these young adults puts into learning their faith and impacting their community is truly admirable; Mara is no exception. Mara is a beautiful young lady - poised and confident, there is no doubt that she was born to do great things.

Thank you Metler family for having me come and document this special day for you. It was warm and inviting, just like you all.
