Giving Back | Vendor Spotlight | The Brides Project
It is with great pride that I bring you today's post. In a small town like Ann Arbor it's amazing the people we meet and the small moments that connect us as a community. About four years ago I sat down at the YMCA to watch my children in their swim lessons. I struck up a conversation with a Mom seated next to me. In the conversation she shared about an idea - a Canadian bridal gown shop that was raising money for a good cause. She shared she was trying to bring that same concept to Ann Arbor. As a wedding photographer I was intrigued and said I would Love to help out and use my photography skills.
What is The Brides Project? The Brides Project is a wedding gown shop full of beautiful gowns, some are "pre-loved" (donated by brides who want to see them dance another day) and some are donated directly from bridal salons (so they're brand new!). 100% of the money raised from selling these gowns supports families touched by cancer through the Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor. The Brides Project is run by volunteers and housed in donated space. The Brides Project is open by appointment only at our boutique is currently located in the Courtyard Shops at 1689 Plymouth Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
How can you help?
