Lauren + Kevin | Love Story | Ann Arbor Wedding Photographer

I met Lauren through photography a few summers ago. She was studying photography in Lansing and was back home for the summer here in Ann Arbor. Lauren became my first intern and she sure was motivated and worked hard! This is Kevin & Lauren's story, though.... Kevin and Lauren dated throughout college and then came some big life decisions. Kevin was moving to Atlanta to follow a job, Lauren finished up school and a year later they decided to give their relationship a chance by both being in Atlanta. A few months later came the engagement - in an extra special way.

Kevin knowing Lauren 's love for photographs took images of their relationship and strung them on a string and created a weaved work of string and photos around the apartment for Lauren to discover. Through the maze of images and memories she traveled along the string until Kevin popped the question.

I love that Kevin & Lauren recreated the string of memories and images for their engagement session. What a beautiful addition and a way to capture the memory of such a great proposal. (Kudos, Kevin!)

The engagement session was the first time I met Kevin. It was in those few hours I realized why Lauren was so happy and in love - they are both quick to laugh and quick to care for one another. I'm looking forward to documenting their continued love story next August as they say, "I do!"
