This past April I took a break from Michigan Wedding Photography to spend a weekend as a St Paul Minnesota Wedding Photographer. {Brrrrr} Thankfully when Matthew and Christie's day came there was bright sunshine and warmer than normal temperatures. It was, well - perfect. Matthew and Christie met (and fixed up by friends) at another wedding that I photographed a few years back of good friends in Stillwater, Minnesota. Despite significant changes in their life (career, med school, big jobs in big far away cities) Matthew and Christie grew closer together.

Christie's great sense of style and attention to detail allowed for one of the prettiest weddings that I had the pleasure of documenting this year. Big thanks to Ashley Fox Designs who not only provided Stunning flowers for the wedding but also helped bring together wonderful design ideas for the wedding and reception. Truly remarkable work!

In the end, after all the pretty details - the relationship of Matthew and Christie is what really shines. They are beautiful people who were thrilled to commit to one another, for life. Thank for allowing me the opportunity to document your gorgeous day. ~ Melanie Reyes Photography
